WELCOME to Raising^Education !

We are a team of young educators with a broad range of academic experience in Science, Engineering and Business.  As recent graduates from the University of British Columbia, and having gone through the local public school system, we understand the difficulties and challenges facing students and teachers alike in reaching their learning and teaching potentials.

We employ a STUDENTS-4-STUDENTS philosophy, meaning that we replace the STUDENT-TEACHER learning environment with a PEER-TO-PEER environment. We do not believe in the “One-Size-Fits-All” teaching style which seems to be commonplace in our schools; rather, we find out your preferred learning style and cater to it!

In addition to just academics, we believe in the importance of being a STRONG community citizen. With a rich history of volunteering experience, from organizing Leadership Conferences to Community Christmas dinners to running computer literacy programs in the Downtown Eastside, we provide information on volunteering opportunities in the community. Volunteering is an excellent way to gain valuable work experience, gain community exposure and remain active!

Education is more than just academics – it’s the foundation for a learning process which will guide you for the rest of your careers! We understand that and it is our motivation for establishing Raising^Education .
